About Live'n'Local
Run by a young local musician Amelia Britt, the Live and Local stage presents local artists with a mix of genres. This stage will run on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th. It ranges from emerging to experienced performers from around central Victoria and gives them perfect chance to share their music with our community.
Artists playing on this stage will have the chance to win the Studio Award, a of recording time at Sound Recordings in nearby Campbells Creek.
This stage is free to view, no tickets needed. We have selected a diverse and exciting line up to keep you interested, so make sure to check it out!
The Live and Local stage is located right near the Newstead pool meaning you can cool off if it is getting a bit warm! We will also have a range of food trucks available nearby.

Studio Award
​​This award will provide a local act with the opportunity to gain valuable experience recording in a professional setting. The recipient of the award will be selected from the acts performing on the Live‘n’Local stage over the weekend.

The winner will receive a full day’s recording at Sound
Recordings, an analog recording studio in Campbell’s Creek, as well as the opportunity to perform on the main stage on Sunday, January 26. We look forward to supporting another emerging artist to get their music out there!
